Animal welfare with heart – Every party helps save lives
Animals and people in need are close to our hearts – not just privately, but also through what we do.
My wife and I have been actively involved in animal welfare for many years. We have our own Four wonderful dogs from kill shelters recorded and accepted rescue sponsorships several times a month, so that more dogs from these shelters can be rescued and brought to Germany.
Every booking helps directly
With every booking at DJ GerreG A portion of my salary automatically goes to animal welfare and other projects!
More concretely, that means: For each order, we take on half a rescue sponsorship. worth €125 About the Association Casa Animale e. V.
Through two bookings by DJ GerreG, a dog is saved from being put down each time! My goal is for as many animals as possible to leave the kill shelter. and travel to a loving home!
A rescue sponsorship costs €250. I will transfer the rescue sponsorships to the association Casa Animale after two completed orders. I am deliberately foregoing a portion of my fee to give animals in need a second chance.

But there's another reason why I pursue my profession as a DJ with so much passion.

Help for children who desperately need it
The association Little Hearts Hanover Inc. dedicates itself with great commitment to children with heart conditions and their families. Where medical care alone is not enough, the association helps unbureaucratically, humanely, and with great heart. Among other things, it supports families in stressful situations, important projects related to pediatric cardiology, and accompanying measures that make everyday life easier for the young patients and their loved ones.
What the work of Little Hearts Hanover Inc. What makes it so special is its closeness to people. Help is provided precisely where it is truly needed – transparently, responsibly, and with a deep understanding of the concerns and challenges of affected families. Every contribution flows into concrete support and directly benefits the children.
I can support such actions also thanks to my clients who book me for their parties, weddings, and events. Through this trust and cooperation, it becomes possible for me to regularly support social projects like this one. For this, I would like to consciously Say thank you.

Our Rescued Dogs
In other countries, countless dogs and cats end up in so-called Killing stations – state institutions where abandoned or stray animals are cruelly killed after a short „grace period“ of usually only 14 days if no one is found to adopt or take them in.
Many of these animals were once loved but were abandoned, given away, or simply forgotten - and then they are literally facing their end.
We can't save everyone, but For some, the tables have turned..
Four of these wonderful dogs found a home with us – Mara, Mona, Balu and Muffin. Since the end of January, it is also Beautiful joined our pack and has fit in wonderfully.
All four would not be alive today without help. Instead of fear and loneliness, they now experience security, trust, and a loving home.

Each of them is unique, full of character and zest for life – and a living testament to the fact that every life matters. They show us every day, how much gratitude, love, and strength is in a rescued animal.

Gradually, we’ll introduce some of the dogs whose rescues we’ve made possible through our sponsorships. Casa Animale e.V. were able to enable – with their photos, their origin, and their story.
Because: Every animal has the right to a loving, protected life.
To the world, they may be just animals – but to each individual, it means the world.
Here are some of our rescued dogs, some of whom have already found new homes in Germany!
One really has to imagine it: these wonderful, gentle creatures — young or old, full of trust and longing for closeness — end up in foreign Killing stations, often with a grace period of only about 14 days. If no one comes, their hope ends far too quickly. It's hard to believe that so much innocence and love hangs by a thread.
This is why every rescue is so important: A small act of humanity can suddenly mean a whole new life for a dog—a warm bed, hands that pet, and people who stay. Many of our protégés have since found loving homes in Germany and are blossoming; their gazes say more than a thousand words. Look at their pictures—and see how despair can turn back into hope.
Each of these animals represents a saved life, courage, love, and the tireless work of all the people who don't look away.

ERIC

Adorable puppy, loving, kind, and playful, gets along well with other dogs
Update: Thank God, the little treasure has a sponsor and is safe, many thanks to Gaby and Holger. The cuddly little thing ERIC, currently only about 20-25 cm small, urgently needs help! The curly darling is acutely threatened with death! Born as unwanted offspring, he was callously discarded at the killing station, a common practice unfortunately! We and the local animal rescuers want to try to save the cute furry face from the worst. ERIC was at least allowed to leave his dark dungeon for a few photos to be introduced – this is his only chance. ERIC must get out of there quickly!

DORO

Sweet little dog girl, loving, kind and playful, gets along well with other dogs
Update: DORO has a sponsorship, many thanks to Gaby and Holger. Captured by dogcatchers and penned up in a cage, the approximately 30-35 cm small DORO ended up in a Romanian euthanasia station. Now she hopes for a great miracle, to be quickly seen and rescued by her humans. The euthanasia station is, as so often, full and has reached its capacity. Euthanasias are then ordered. Despite all her misfortune, our DORO had a little luck. Our befriended animal rescuers were present upon her arrival and we were alerted to her. She is showing herself to be compatible and friendly, even though the situation in the euthanasia station is overwhelming her. We would like to help her!

BOBBY

Lovable, cute male dog, friendly to people, gets along with other dogs
Update: Sweet BOBBY has been adopted by Gaby and Holger, thank you very, very much. BOBBY, who is about 15-18 inches tall, was caught by dogcatchers, penned up in a cage, and ended up in a Romanian death camp. Now he hopes for the big miracle of being quickly seen and rescued by his people. The kill shelter is, as is often the case, full and has reached its capacity. Killings are then ordered. Despite all his misfortune, our BOBBY had a little luck. Our friends from animal rescue were just arriving and we noticed him. He remains good-natured and friendly, even though the situation in the kill shelter overwhelms him. We want to help him!

GOLDIE

Update: Update: Thanks to the sponsorship of Gaby and Holger, the little mouse can be brought to safety. Thank you very much. The beautiful GOLDIE is a lovable, cute, friendly doggy who gets along with other dogs and who is unfortunately in mortal danger. No longer wanted, she was disposed of in the kill shelter without any compassion. We want to fight for GOLDIE! She deserves to experience what it feels like to live a protected life with a loving family, and we would love to bring her to Germany. In fact, GOLDIE has the chance to soon have a spot at our sanctuary until she finds a permanent home. Who would like to help her start a happy future? We are looking for warm-hearted dog lovers who will shower the beautiful GOLDIE with love. Probably
GOLDIE hasn't had much chance to get to know people yet, so attending a dog training school that uses positive reinforcement is recommended. Learning the 'ABC's of doghood and romping with doggy friends across the meadow would surely be a lot of fun for this clever lady. To whom can GOLDIE give her little doggy heart?

NAVARRO

Magnificent treasure of gold, loves people despite a terrible past, gets along well with his own kind.
Update: The lovely boy got his sponsorship from Gaby and Holger, thank you very much, now he can travel. The beautiful NAVARO is a great, very people-oriented young male dog - simply a treasure on four paws! After his cruel past, you really have to ask yourself: how much suffering can an innocent dog's soul take? Fortunately, this extremely lovable and cuddly boy was rescued from a slum. There he was tied up with a tight rope that had grown deep into his neck. How cruel can people be, how much must he have suffered all this time and what pain must he have endured? In the meantime, NAVARO has been freed from his burden, the wounds have healed well and this darling can finally start to enjoy his life. It is a joy to watch this maltreated little soul as he looks to the future with confidence. Finally a nice, species-appropriate life - this is what NAVARKO, who loves to run, has more than earned! We would like to help him achieve this and are looking for a dream home for this soulful dog.

She would love to get one of the few cuddles for herself, but she usually doesn't succeed. Unfortunately, we know nothing about CYNTHIA's past. Has she ever known a family life? She is open to people and also gets along well with other dogs. But time is ticking for CYNTHIA too at the overcrowded shelter. We therefore want to get her out quickly and prevent the worst.

Dear darling, initially a bit cautious due to neglect, also lived with cats, gets along with fellow cats
Update: SIA has received her rescue sponsorship from Gaby and Holger and is coming to Germany on October 25, 2025. Thank you very much. The tiny SIA has spent her life until now rather bleakly in the garden of an old lady in Romania; her plush nose was discovered there by animal welfare activists. The tolerant dog gets along well with dogs and cats.
She has spent her life so far in a less than ideal situation. Human affection was not very common. This explains her initial reserve towards us humans. But with a little patience, our little one warms up quickly and will soon be the sunshine of her humans. An existing first dog would certainly help her settle in quickly, as she unfortunately does not know life in a house. She already knows cats. After much back and forth, the owner agreed to give SIA into the care of animal rescuers and not to take in any new animals. Now we want to get SIA ready for travel and then bring her to Germany quickly.

Update: Today, luck has a name - SHARUKH! Rescued thanks to our dear sponsors Gaby and Holger, he will travel to Germany at the end of November to a foster home, leaving hopelessness far behind. SHARUKH is friendly towards people, gets along with his own kind, and even showed himself to be peaceful towards cats during the veterinary examination – a great guy! The dog didn't have the best conditions at the dog pound. Being one among many big, dark male dogs, being seen and rescued is like searching for a needle in a haystack. We saw the needle – or rather, SHARUKH – and, together with his rescue sponsors and an experienced foster home, made the incredible happen for him!

Update: The sweet ZORRO has a new life! Thanks to the rescue sponsorship received from Holger, he can now travel to Germany on January 10, 2026. But that's not all – Holger has also arranged a foster home for Zorro, which, if all goes well and he gets along with the other dogs, will mean a permanent home for sweet Zorro. For Zorro, this is a Christmas miracle, though he doesn't quite know it yet. Zorro was captured by dogcatchers and brought to the kill shelter. He is waiting here for help so that his life is not cruelly ended prematurely.
UPDATE: Sweet Zorro has arrived at his foster home and is getting along wonderfully with the other dogs. So it will be his forever home! The new pictures show Zorro in his new home.

Update: Sweet BELLA is out of danger! Thanks to the rescue sponsorship from Holger, she can now leave the death shelter. But that's not all - Holger also found a foster home for Bella, which, if all goes well and she gets along with the other dogs, will mean a permanent home for the beautiful Bella. Bella's year couldn't start any better, even though she doesn't know about her great luck yet.
She is no longer wanted and has ended up in the kill shelter, and if we can't help her, her life light will soon be extinguished forever – a gruesome thought! We want to at least try to help the charming little bear and find her a great home with loving people.

MIRO

MIRO was on the verge of being euthanized. Because of our commitment, he is now out of euthanasia and no longer in mortal danger.
MIRO was able to exchange his impending death sentence for a safe shelter thanks to a rescue sponsorship. He was very lucky and was discovered among the new arrivals at the euthanasia station by his rescue sponsors, so he did not have to be returned to the station after being admitted. Now we are looking for a good home for the handsome dog. Whether MIRO ever had a home,
We don't know, but nobody missed him. He is friendly towards people and also gets along well with his own kind in his kennel.

LENI

The beautiful, fluffy LENI was brought to the Romanian kill shelter in poor condition and immediately taken to the animal clinic by animal welfare activists, where she is now being lovingly cared for. LENI has recovered wonderfully and is now ready for her own home. We want to do everything we can to ensure that LENI doesn't have to go back to the kill shelter after her full recovery! LENI has received her rescue sponsorship from the Korsten family and was able to be brought to safety. We sincerely thank them for this. With her friendly nature and cleverness, LENI is a very special dog. She is intelligent, sweet, and people-oriented, and her fluffy fur invites you to pet her. Can LENI hope for a warm, cozy spot on the sofa?

Unfortunately, we don't know much about WHITE's past. Snow is her mother and is only about a year older than WHITE. Did she ever get to know family life, or was she a victim of backyard breeders? Did she only live in the garden?

Animal Rescue Hope Inc. - The Smeura
The world's largest animal shelter (Die Smeura) with almost 6,000 dogs is located only about 200 meters next to the municipal animal shelter.
In the municipal "animal shelter," all unhomed dogs are put to death painfully after a 14-day stay.
Since 2000, Tierhilfe Hoffnung e.V. has been operating the Smeura and lovingly cares for the poor dogs of Romania, who would otherwise face a torturous death, doing a great job. Every euro helps!

FOUR PAWS - Foundation for the Protection of Animals
VIER PFOTEN is an international animal welfare organization headquartered in Vienna, Austria, with the goal of helping animals in need.
The organization particularly helps stray dogs and cats, farm animals, domestic animals, and wild animals such as bears, big cats, and orangutans from inappropriate housing.
Since 1988, FOUR PAWS has been committed to animal welfare with sustainable campaigns and provides direct help for animals in need.

Light for the world
With a mobile operation by Light for the World, only 30 Euros can restore a person's eyesight and their will to live.
Worldwide, there are over 250 million people with a visual impairment. Of these, 36 million are blind.
This wouldn't be necessary, as four out of five cases of blindness could be prevented if everyone had access to adequate medical care. Light for the World helps people all over the world.
Children's Hospice Star Bridge Hamburg
The Kinderhospiz Sternenbrücke (Children's Hospice Star Bridge) in Hamburg supports and accompanies affected families in the final phase of their terminally ill children's lives, and ensures the children have a beautiful last time.
The Sternenbrücke also stands by the parents of the deceased child after their child's death and helps them cope with grief.
Since May 2003, the Kinder-Hospiz Sternenbrücke in Hamburg has been able to accommodate and support up to 12 affected families in a home-like setting.
WWF Germany
The WWF Germany environmental foundation advocates for nature conservation, animal protection, and human rights due diligence.
Our planet must be protected, that's what the WWF fights for.
The mission of WWF Germany is to stop the worldwide destruction of nature and the environment, and to enable humans to live in harmony with nature.
The WWF has implemented over 13,000 projects worldwide since its founding, and over five million people have supported it in doing so.
Children's Laughter e.V.
Kinderlachen supports severely ill children in children's hospitals, children's hospices, daycare centers, and kindergartens, as well as facilities affected by public austerity measures. All children must be between the ages of 0 and 17.
Kinderlachen's area of operation is primarily limited to the German-speaking region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) because we are personally on-site for every aid mission. This is the only way we can see with our own eyes that things are arriving where they are needed.
