This is me (the guy in the middle). My name is Holger Korsten and I'm known as DJ GerreG, and I'm the specialist for grand, unforgettable wedding parties.
You see me here with my wonderful pack (from left to right: Muffin, Mara, Bella, DJ GerreG, Balou and Mona). My wife and I rescued all 5 from kill shelters and have had these 5 wonderful four-legged friends by our side for several years.

I've been married for over 35 years to my fantastic wife. Together, we've fulfilled our dream of owning our own huge property with houses, garages, and most importantly, miles of fence around our land so the dogs can run and watch over it freely.
Since it wasn't possible to find (and afford) such a property in Hamburg, we now live in the beautiful Nordheide, a bit south of Hamburg.
As a born and bred Hamburg native, I didn't want to live too far from home. It takes us about 30 minutes to get to the city center of Hamburg.
How did I get into DJing?
I went to school in Hamburg and, even as a student back then - when we still had cassette decks and music recorded from the radio with a microphone - I was a hobby DJ, playing music at all sorts of school and class parties.
A few years after finishing school, former classmates approached me and asked me to play music as a DJ at their bachelor parties and weddings. That's why I specialized in weddings very early on.
Looking back, that was the hardest start a hobby DJ could have.
Weddings are the absolute PREMIER LEAGUE, the Champions League of all celebrations!
At a wedding reception, 3 generations must be equally entertained, all of whom have completely different musical tastes. Therefore, there are very few good wedding DJ specialists. Most of my DJ colleagues are all-rounders and are usually at home at birthday parties and corporate events.
Anyway... I've been a professional wedding DJ for over 25 years now and have given countless bridal couples their most beautiful day, or rather their most beautiful wedding party.
But I also spent time in clubs and discos, as well as in dance cafes and on various cruise ships, such as TS Maxim Gorky, MS Albatros, MS Delphin, MS Delphin Renaissance, MS Astor, and MS Astoria. Here I got to know the musical tastes of the over-50 generation extensively.
No matter whether it's large events with 1,000+ guests or small celebrations with 50-100 people... I'm passionate about music, and for me, there's nothing greater than seeing a packed dance floor and people celebrating wildly until the early hours of the morning!
I am not only a DJ, but also an enthusiastic dancer myself. Dancing has always been (and still is) a great passion of mine, alongside music. Starting with classical dance school and the German Dance Badges in Gold and Gold Star from General German Dance Teacher Association/ADTV, up to tournament dancing in Standard and Latin.
